When you consider the fact that it is our species that do drugs, drink far too much alcohol and ruin our own health with the wrong choices we make in our lifetimes.. While animals just go about their business raising their young in the best environment they have to work with.. and succeed on the most part.. Who is possibly the smarter species??? lol (-:

If they could talk I'm certain their focus would be on themselves....very similar to us I expect.
You could be drunk stoned and butt naked and the dog looking strangely at you is probably thinking
" Wonder if they got any more pork chop bones? "

Some do. We pet owners are probably more aware of this than those who do not own pets.
