Is blow drying hair every other day bad?

My hair is naturally wavy and super thick , so when I dry it without heat it takes about 10 hours to dry fully -_-. I wash my hair every other day because it gets greasy quickly , after that I towel dry most of the moisture from it and then blow dry it for about 5 mins.

I'm trying to grow my hair from armpit length to around waist length and am taking hair, skin and nail vitamins. I get it cut every three months and use a deep conditioning treatment (aussie) every week.

Is it ok for me to blow dry my hair or is it too damaging?

Not really, but use a heat protectant

You should definitely use a heat protectant when blow drying (and straightening and curling). It will protect your hair, making it less frizzy at the hairline and on the ends.
