How do I react to this?!?
I'm currently in year 11 and 16 years old, I have a boyfriend who is almost 17 and we have been dating for 18 days.
At the start of this academic year a boy in year 10 (we shall call him H) (15 years old) joined the school, I was actually quite interested in the boy at that time but after him showing no interest I also lost interest in him.
Recently I have noticed that H has been spending a lot of time looking at me and has been making more of an effort to talk to me and start conversations. H is a ver nice person and he is polite and friendly. Even more recently the staring has became very intense and after accidentally making eye contact with the stare I can see that it also have a very sexual connotation to it.
My best friend has also noticed it and she is on the same bus as H, she has also said that H has been making a conscious effort to be nice to her since he knows that she is friends with me.
I received a text from my friend yesterday saying that H had pranced onto the bus holding a bag of condoms after lying to the school nurse about having a 17 year old girlfriend, he then proceeded to asking her if I was single. After hearing that I was not he looked disappointed and then asked how long we had been dating , stating that "there is time yet". My friend tells me that he obviously got the condoms with the intention of using them on me.
How do I deal with this situation? My boyfriend feels threatened by H. Would it be possible to hold a friendship with H?
5 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoIs this a good personal statement for post-16?
I'm currently studying for 10 GCSEs in which I will complete in 2014, I plan to take Psychology, Maths, Biology and English literature at A level. My favorite subjects that I currently study are Religious studies, Maths and English.
My skills include: Mathematical skills, problem solving, Listening, reading and working in both team and individual tasks.Teachers and friends would describe me as: trustworthy, hardworking, intelligent, sympathetic and compassionate.
Outside of school my hobbies are both music and theatre. I attend regular band practice and have performed on many occasions. I am also a member of a local thespian group and take part in both summer shows and pantomimes each year, this year I was appointed the principle role of the fairy. I have also been taking singing lessons for 2 years and I'm currently a grade 5.
I have been a volunteer at the local youth group entertaining a looking after a group of around 20 6-11 year olds. I have also taken part in a event called Ncounter, this is an event in which people involved complete different tasks to help the local residents, some of these tasks include: litter picking , fence painting, running a drop in session and completing gardening for some of the older residents.
could you please critique my personal statement, this is an application for the next college that I would like to move up to.
Is there any improvements to be made?
Thanks :)
1 AnswerOther - Education8 years agoHow do I switch friendship groups?
I've been thinking about this for a while and I know it's only going to get worse.
The "friendship" group I'm currently in is lead by a really argumentative hypocrite. She always undermines me and I'm always left out for being too quiet, or because I don't want to join in with their stupid immature conversations about things "sounding wrong" or whatever completely irrelevant conversations she wants to talk about. Most of them often end in some stupid ewwing about some not even remotely sexual things, but seriously what is wrong with the notion of sex?
She is also incredibly judgmental and thinks: being gay is wrong, that it is wrong for a person to dress as the opposite sex, that a female must shave their legs, that anyone not wearing makeup is weird, that wearing too much makeup makes you "slutty", that short hair on a girl and long hair on a boy is wrong and there's plenty of other things that she says.
Anyway, I'm known for being shy and reserved and suffering with social anxiety does not help matters. I've often been told that I could get way better friends, but how do I go about making new friends? It would be really appreciated if anybody could help me :)

6 AnswersFriends8 years agoI think my cat may be injured outside?
There was a god-awful sound of cats screeching not too long ago , I went to investigate and I can hear my cat outside (I can tell by his bell) , its pitch black outside (22.10) and I can't find him. It's not normal of him to stay outside after a fight , and he's also quite elderly. What should I do?
1 AnswerCats8 years agoI'm so close to suicide, what do I do?
First of all , I know it's selfish and not the answer.
I'm 15, for the first 10 years of my life I was bullied constantly, I would hide in the school toilets to avoid people and would always stay back at school to avoid conflict with others. My "dad" divorced my mum when I was 5 and I have never gotten on with my new stepdad.
2 years ago I was raped whilst on holiday with my family, nobody knows about that incident.
Last year I was almost hospitalized with Anorexia nervosa, I would self harm excessively and now never wear short sleeved clothing.
I don't self harm anymore.
I've been feeling much better these past few months , with a healthy lifestyle and eating.
But today I got a message from my "dad" who I have not seen for 8 years, this message was a direct attack to me and my mum threatening to take us to court for a bill that he never paid.
He then went on to tell me that I was not his biological daughter, so I now do not know if he is my father. I'm pretty sure I am and that he is just trying to attack my mum through me.
6 AnswersMental Health8 years agoCan I still grow taller at age 15?
I heard that girls stop growing 2 years after their period, but that's not the case for me as I was 9 when I got my first period. I'm currently 5'6.75 (much easier to call 5'7) but I would love to grow that extra inch or two. Is it still possible that I can grow?
For the record my mum is 5'5 and my dad is 5'11

4 AnswersBirmingham8 years agoIs it bad for me to date a 16 year old? (I'm 15)?
He is 7 months older than me , and he is a lovely person. We get on so well and we have lots to talk about ( he is a sound engineer on the side and I sing). He is just a relaxing person to be around. Would it be a bad decision to date him , seeing as he is older than me? what is your opinion?
5 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoIs blow drying hair every other day bad?
My hair is naturally wavy and super thick , so when I dry it without heat it takes about 10 hours to dry fully -_-. I wash my hair every other day because it gets greasy quickly , after that I towel dry most of the moisture from it and then blow dry it for about 5 mins.
I'm trying to grow my hair from armpit length to around waist length and am taking hair, skin and nail vitamins. I get it cut every three months and use a deep conditioning treatment (aussie) every week.
Is it ok for me to blow dry my hair or is it too damaging?
2 AnswersHair8 years agoTreat day turned binge day (help)?
I've eaten clean for the past week and thursday is always my designated treat day , but today I have just started my period and it's notoriously bad for binging. I have eaten around 2200 calories of junk today and not exercised as it is my rest day also. I normally eat around 1600 calories of protien filled balanced meals.
How can I pick myself back up?
5 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agowhat is a good time for a beginner to run 3k?
I'm training for a half marathon from being a couch potato and I'm just wondering what a good time for a 15 year old beginner would be?
1 AnswerRunning8 years agoDo you think he likes me?
Ok , so I'm 15 (almost 16) and he is the same age.
We both go to the same school and we are both in the same music lesson.
I've always though that he was cute since primary school.
We'd never really spoken very much though.
About four weeks ago he popped up on facebook with "Hey:) xx" and the conversation was flowing. We met up after college for a while and hung out at his house, I made a comment about his hands I think it was "wow your hands are massive!" and we compared hands , he then slipped his fingers into mine and held my hand. He also put his arm around my waist and gave me a hug goodbye. When talking he smiled and looked into my eyes. He said that we would meet up sometime this week when he is free.
The past few days I haven't had contact with him (apart from smiles at school) and I don't want to initiate conversations (online or text) because I don't want to come across as annoying or needy. As he has initiated previous conversations.
Is it possible that he just isn't interested in me?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agowhere to find makeup that is cruelty free (uk)?
I Know that you can buy urban decay , but they only really sell eye shadow and lip glosses.
I need a brand that doesn't test on animals, for everyday makeup such as foundation , mascara and blush.
thanks :)
5 AnswersMakeup8 years agoHow to apologize to my mum?
So me and my mum have been arguing for the past few days , it's not really over anything.
Apparently I have been angry and moany with her, the truth is I am tired and I really can't be doing with all of these questions flying at me. If I so much as answer with a fed up tone of voice she goes on a rant.
Anyway I'd like to pave over this , so I have to apologize.
But my mum is a scary woman , so I'm dreading doing this.
Can somebody give me an idea of what to say?

3 AnswersRunning8 years agoShould I let him touch my boobs?
I've been dating my boyfriend for a while now , and he has started asking to touch my boobs.
Although I feel uncomfortable I love him very much , but I'm scared that he will be put off by my boobs. I always wear a push up bra because I'm a C cup and feel really small , I am also really pale and have very pale nipples and my nipples are inverted.
I'm scared that he wont be attracted to me if I let him feel them.
I also have not told him but a few years ago (when I was 13) I was sexually assaulted and have lost all of my confidence when in a relationship encase I end up in the same situation as before.
