Christian Girl needs advice about weather to wear a Bikini?

You can be moderately in the middle. You can wear a bikini, but also have no ulterior intentions, such as impressing guys and such. It doesn't have to be on or the other.

And one other thing, tell the "church girls" that they don't have the right to judge what's modest or immodest, they are humans, just like the rest of the world.

I am a Christian girl, I wear a bikini top but I wear a pair of swim shorts over my bikini bottoms. It just makes me feel better because I know my butt isn't hanging out! I think guys are going to think about your body when you are wearing a bikini or not, whats the difference? Wear whatever makes you feel good.

Wow those girls are probably insecure and just jealous that other girls look better in bikinis than they do. God would be proud to know that you love the body he gave you and to know that you aren't ashamed of it! You are CHRISTIAN, not Amish! I mean of course you don't want your boobs hanging out everywhere, that would just be trashy. But a bikini with bright colors or a cute pattern that is the right size for you is super cute and fun. If you all went swimming together they would probably sit there with "the look" on their faces and see you splashing around having a good time and be soooo jealous of you. Then, whaddya know! Next week they'll be swimming in bikinis. I can't stand those type of girls who claim to be Christian yet they talk crap about every thing and every body.

Just ignore them! Have fun! :)

You need to wear a bikini that has more boob and but coverage. I do, however, wear a bikini partially to show off my curves, but also because it is just more comfortable and more practical than other types of swimsuits. That's the reason you should wear a bikini.

I think those people are being way protective. Do what makes you feel comfortable and don't worry about what other people think because to be honest, you're never going to get anywhere in life if you always consider other people's thoughts or criticism when you make decisions. Ultimately, do what you love and makes you feel good in your own skin. You are beautiful just the way God created you and He wants us all to be happy, so strut on and don't look back!

They sound like prudes. If you want to tan, wear a bikini. And yes, guys will think about your body whether you wear a bikini or are fully dressed. You choose.

If your going around in a bikini to show off, then yeah, somethings wrong. However, most people wear it to swim, so if your wearing one for that reason or just sunbathing then there is absolutely nothing wrong.

I think they are trashy myself. If you want to receive the full sun and not look trashy, you can wear the bikini top but with swimming trunks. You will still look sexy, but not trashy and besides trunks are in style now.
