So.. how 'bout them Leafs?

Lol, the Flames and Leafs will probably never win a cup again.

I was impressed by them. They started the series with 2 or 3 players with any playoff experience, faced a team that's almost an exact replica of the 2011 Cup Champs and forced an overtime period in game 7 to decide the series.

It was a heartbreaking way to lose the series but I didn't have the Leafs getting into the playoffs this year so I was pleasantly surprised.

So very predictable! I thought 7 games and out, but also thought I was giving them too much credit. Not to trash the Leafs. Or well, okay some. lol. But they just don't have enough playoff experience to go far. And that's what it came down to - 7th game nerves when you are ahead but the team hasn't been there forever. I suspect they will do slightly better next year.

Now I am looking forward to watching Ottawa with undivided Canadian media attention and no TML side show talk.

Honestly, I didn't get why the Leafs lost that game. Up 2 goals with under 2 minutes to go. The first goal shouldn't have gotten in. GET DOWN AND BLOCK THE SHOT. If he did that goal wouldn't have gone in and it would have been A LEAFS WIN.

Bad day to be a Leaf fan.
