About 5 days ago my yahoo sign home page began not recognizing me and I had to sign in each time i wanted to access my mail. Why is that?

Possibly you cleared your cache and your saved passwords were erased. Go to your Account Info (under Hi, Username) and you may be asked to confirm your password. Then, under Sign-in and Security, change your sign-in settings.

Also make sure this box is checked:

    [✔] Keep me signed in

It's caused by the Yahoo cookies being deleted when you close the browser.

If you are using IE then go to and click Tools, click Internet options.

Go to privacy and make sure the level is medium.

For Firefox click Tools, then options, at privacy check the cookies options.

Some anti virus/spyware may be deleting the cookies

This is happening to many others at this time. Seems to be 1 of many glitches. Yahoo is aware of it and is supposed to be working on a fix for it.

Make sure you click 'Keep me signed in for 2 weeks' Don't sign out
