What's the best way to buy show tickets for Vegas?

Is it best to buy from advance? If so what websites would you recommend? Or is best to just buy the tickets when you are there? And is it better to go to the venue or buy from the tickets stores you see dotted about.

I'm mainly talking about Penn & Teller, I'm finding 3 std tickets for about $200, is that reasonable?

Personally, I did not like the Penn and Teller show (no offense anybody!) and I would definitely not pay 200 or even half for a ticket. We went to see it and we paid about 80 dollars for a 2nd row seat via ebay (high rollers and locals often have free tickets so they sell them through ebay). However, it depends on how much you are willing to look. You can also shop around when in Vegas, such as going to tix4tonight booths, they have reduced tickets every day. Online you can try smartervegas.

Sometimes you can find promo codes for certain shows, and Vegas.com sometimes has sales on show tickets (including Penn & Teller). Otherwise, it's usually easiest to purchase from the venue itself, and to purchase in advance. There can be great deals at the Tix4Tonight kiosks along the strip, but you can't guarantee that they will have any particular show. Popular shows, such as Penn & Teller, often are not available.

A price of $200 for 3 Penn & Teller tickets is not a bad deal at all. I think we paid $90 a ticket when we last went to that show. And it was well worth it :)

Go to the web site for the show you want, then when you arrive you just go to the ticket office.
