I live in the UK. I have been doing a SAYE with my work. It is due to mature in May, the shares are significantly higher than what I paid for them so they will take me over the CGT threshold.

I'm just wondering, how do I calculate what I paid for the shares to offset that against how much I made. Is it the total amount I have paid for the shares that have now matured or is it the amount the shares cost me for the current financial year.

Can I sell shares up to the CGT allowance and then also put a similar amount of shares into a stocks and shares ISA?

I just need to know the best way to avoid paying excessive tax costs

A car came right into my lane and I hat to break and mount the roundabout. My car has suffered a little damage and the steering feels funny. My left arm has been hurting since I woke up the next day. It is still perfectly driveable, just i feel I should get the steering looked at because it does feel really light on the left where I was hit.

When I spoke to my insurance they said that since my car is quite old that if the steering has been effected that my car would be a write off :(. I don't want to lose my car, I love my car. If it turns out it is a write off how much money would I get towards a new car? The cars value is only £1000.

Also as my arm has been hurting and I haven't been able to move it properly, could I get compensation for it? The crash was only a little bump and I don't feel seriously injured but I can definitely notice it.

Would it be dependent on the cost of the car. Let's just say it costs £50,000

This is in the UK. I was at a three lane roundabout, the left lane is for turning left only. The middle lane is for going straight over in the left lane and the right lane is for going straight over the roundabout in the right lane or turning right at the roundabout.

I was in the very right hand lane to go straight ahead in the right hand lane. Anyway I pull onto the roundabout and some bone head in the middle lane starts coming into my lane! I brake fairly hard and he keeps on coming into my lane so much so that I had to slam on and pull onto the roundabout.

Most of the damage was to his car, which happens to be a hire car. My car has some cosmetic damage and after exchanging insurance details when i drove off my steering feels light.

I only have 3 years no claim and it is not protected. What do I do? Who do I inform? I wasn't in the wrong so surely his hire car insurance has to foot the bill and my insurance will remain unaffected. Do I get it taken into a garage to see what the damage is and then ring his insurance or the hire company?

My exhaust started getting louder and louder a couple weeks ago now. It's sounding really loud now, especially in lower gears and speeds and when the engine is cold.

It sounds like it's blowing, I was going to take it to a garage but I had a quick look at the ignition leads and they are really worn.

It's a 2001 Hyundai coupe, apparently the OEM leads are really poor quality so I've ordered some new leads.

Will that have contributed to the loud sound? Or do I really need to get my exhaust looked at

Also what kind of price am I looking at if the exhaust is blowing, petrol consumption seems to have been quite badly affected

Ok I'm not bothered about long-term weight loss in the slightest. Me and my friend we're just having a discussion abd pondered how much it actually weighs, I guessed at about half a kilo. My hair is about 1 and a half inches to 2 inches long. It's quite thick and a little wavy. I'm mixed English and Malaysian so is my hair suitable and will it look good on me? You can see my skin tone in my picture

I want to go back to Vegas, I want to go in June but my friends want to go in May.. I want to kno if it will still be as busy. I'm thinking of this for Poker, Pool parties, Artists performing etc..

Thinking of going to Vegas sometime between November and March of 2012/2013 Just wondering if it will be busy and what the weather will be like? Mainly the poker tables, and does any part of Vegas shut down during these months? What about clubs, and are there any pool parties or similar events?

I've been looking at getting new speakers for my laptop for obvious reasons. I was looking at the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks III because I heard them in store and they really impressed me. I thought i've have a look online to find them cheaper which i did, but then i started looking around a bit more. I spotted the Logitech Z550's as a 5.1 set up for just a little bit more as I read great reviews about them.

But now i've ordered them i'm spotting some weak reviews from real audiophiles who seem to think their not worth the money and that the soundsticks might even be a better purchase as a 2.1 system for a cheaper price. Any other recommendations? I mainly want it to look good and it's for music, that's why I liked the soundsticks

I'm looking for a few pairs of sneaks i seen a while ago (online) but i can't find them anywhere now since i've forgotten what they we're called. They had on the back of the upper "Hail Mary" or something of that nature. I'm pretty sure they we're a House of Hoops collection model. If nobody knows what i'm talking about then anywhere i can buy authentic House of Hoops would be great, bearing in mind i live in England so online's my only real option
