What would you call a child whose never celebrated a birthday even though there parent had money?

What would you call a child whose never celebrated a birthday even though there parent had the money and was able to buy cake/ice cream but didn't? for like ten years and finally got a cake at the age of 13 even though other siblings always had cake/ice cream... like what word would you use to describe this mistreated,neglected,unloved... also how would you feel if you were that child?

Update:

I'm that child I was raised by a single mother who has 12 kids and I always had less then every other sibling and I had forgotten about this until yesterday she thinks i'm lying but i promise i'm not (no were not jehovah witness) now I can't stop crying about it my birthday is next month I will be 18 but I don't think i'll even be able to see it because I feel like killing myself. I love my mom and on a scale of 1-10 as a single parent I give her an 8 but I don't know how to feel about this it's making me depressed all over again

I would say set apart, unfavored, if the other siblings had a celebration and you didn't. There's not enough evidence from what you say to determine that she's unloved. Mistreated and neglected also fit.

Well, putting aside the obvious and appropriate comments others have made, I'd say the child is actually a victim of psychological child abuse because he/she has always been made to feel inferior to his/her siblings and in turn, it will cause lifelong feelings of low self esteem, low self confidence and overall rejection. Personally I suggest you discuss this with Children's Services and get their opinion.

Well, ask Harry Potter. That the child would feel neglected and unloved is pretty certain. And I would feel that way myself.

I'd say an unwanted child! I'd feel really depressed. The child needs someone to talk to, counselor or a family member who does care!

    Oh Gosh how awful!

I would probably call them an orphan, because what kind of monsters would do that to their child?

I just turned 34 this year and had the best birthday so far! And my dad's birthday and mom's was always every year special.

    Answer mine?

I would call that child a Jehovah's Witness.
