Christians, how would you answer this?

I didn't come up with it. It was asked once but no answer was given. The question is If God ordains that Man should die without a fight, then why does He give us the will to live?

God doesn't necessarily ordain that man should die without a fight. There is a time for peace and a time for war. We should preserve our bodies for the continuation of God's kingdom and the furthering of His glory throughout the earth. He wants us to live, why else would He make us? The problem comes in when our desire to live here on earth is selfish and derived from our own human sin nature. And when our selfish/sin desire to live overrides our desire to walk with and please God, then the desire to live is a problem. Otherwise I would say the desire to not die makes perfect sense. But we should not let it overshadow the gift of Heaven or desire to have a relationship with God.

Any answer is flawed because the question is flawed.

First, God has not ordained man should die without a fight, and second, man does not have a will to live. Man doesn't know what real life is. He is blind, deaf, and dumb when it comes to living.

I don't really understand the question, where does God say that man should die without a fight. I've read that no where in the Bible. Certainly we shouldn't murder but there is nothing wrong with fighting to save other lives. In the end we have a free will because God wanted us to love him. Love cannot be love without a choice not to love.

The old man of sin must die. God gives us the will to live a new life in his Son. It is because God loves us that he gives us the free will to serve him or the way of the world. The next life will be so wonderful no pain no sorrow no crying no tears and no more death. What God ask of us to lay down our life for him is a small price to pay. Thanks for the question friend. God bless.

Scripture nowhere demands that man should die without a fight.

The Bible tells us that we were created to worship Him. Dying isn't a bad thing. This is just the way that a human sees it because we are unable to see from God's eye. When a person who has born again dies, He simply returns back to God. He gave us life because He is good.

    God bless you!

The only being is qualify to take people's live is God.

Human should NOT kill other human or cause their death.

    Human should NOT kill him-herself.

The One who gives a life is the One who take it away.

I don't know of any father that desires his child will grow up to hate him.

Loving parents hope to enjoy a relationship with their kids built on love and trust shared and experienced. We don't have children in the hopes they will reject and despise us.

Of course as they grow up- sometimes our children fail to understand some of the things we do and ask of them but parents who know what is best for their kids establish rules out of love and training. Loving parents trust maturity will eventually win out and our kids will understand someday and even be grateful for what we were hoping to do - nurture a relationship of love- out of love.

This is God's hope for His kids too.

Christians would answer it by saying God gave us free will and so we can choose to defy him if we please, same sort of thing with why there is suffering, as we choose it to happen
