Flying is always cheaper. The cost of fuel and hotels would be far greater, plus you'd spend at least two days each way in the car.

Alexandria to Brooksville is about a thousand miles and about 16 hours of driving.
Since you'd have to do two round trips to go get her and then take her home, that's over 4000 miles.
Assuming 25 mpg on a car, that's 160 gallons of gas. At $4/gallon, that's $640. And that's without tolls or any other expenses related to the road trip.
You can definitely find round trip airfares from Tampa to Indianapolis for less than that.

Flying would be cheaper. Figure between, gas, hotel, food, wear and tear on the car plus tolls if there are any.

Neither city has an airport.
