At your job, do colleagues help new starters?
In my experience, people do not help colleagues (apart from me) and I just want to see if anyone else has seen this.

At my job you can ask anyone for assistance and they will go out of there way to help you with a problem. When I started, one colleague wrote me an unofficial hand book to help me adapt to the job! So your company might not be the most friendly....

I work for a small buisness and you help everyone that works there, whether its by getting shopping or helping serve a customer.
All the people that don't help others aren't right for the buisness I'm in as we are a cafe and generally you need to help others

at my job, when i first started everyone helped me out and showed me what to do. even now, we still help each other out if we need to if someone is stuck with something. iv never seen someone not get help where i work, wether they ask for help or not. like one day i was trying to move something far too heavy so someone else came along and did it for me, i didn't even have to ask.
