Im so scared.. What do i do?
So i'm 21 years old and i live with my girlfriend of almost a year and a half. She had a doctors appointment yesterday. After the appointment she told me that she needed to talk to me. I was at work at the time so i called her. She sounded really distant and told me that we needed to talk in person. When i got home she told me that the doctors found a large mass in her breast. They think that its cancer. My girlfriend's mom past from cancer when she was 7 years old and i still have a hard time helping her get through days like christmas, and birthdays. The drew blood from her for further testing but now we are both just numb to the body. I can't lose her to cancer. I am at a lost for words. What do i do? what do i say? how can i help make her feel better? Her dad is completely freaking out. I can't imagine being in his shoes. Someone please help me. Why is life so unfair?

You be there for her. That is your number one priority. When she's scared or upset you hug her and tell her that you will be there for he and that you will help her get through it.
Make her laugh. Though you may be breaking inside if you try and make her feel better then hopefully you will too.
Make the most of every day with her. Take her out, spoil her, or even just have a normal day. Say little things like you're beautiful so she feels a bit better about herself.
Try and distract her. Plan things. So that when she is in discomfort you can use that to take her mind of it all.
Try not to be upset around her. You have to be strong for her.

What was the blood test for?
Blood tests are not used to diagnose breast cancer and my own were normal throughout my diagnosis and most of my treatment.
A mass in the breast of such a young woman is unlikely to be cancerous.
What testing have they done?

I know many people close to me who had breast cancer, and survived to tell the tale! (about 4 people I know well)
I also had cancer myself and survived (I'm a guy and I had it when I was 10)
there is a chance you might lose her, but also a chance shell live.
just pray for her, and she'll be fine mate.
