We have Left Hand Side (L.H.S) as 2x - 6 and Right Hand Side as x + 5
2x - 6 = x + 5
Let's subtract "x" from both the sides.
2x - 6 - x = x + 5 - x
We get,
x - 6 = 5
Adding "6" to both sides, we get,
x = 11

Solution,
2x-6=x+5
Subtracting x on both sides, we get,
or, 2x-6-x=x+5-x
or, x-6=5
Adding 6 on both sides, we get,
or, x-6+6=5+6
or, x=11

2x-6=x+5
2x - x - 6 = x - x +5 {subtracting x on both sides}
x-6=5
x-6+6=5+6 {adding 6 on both sides}
x= 11
that's the wright answer..
