1994 Toyota Camry: key won't turn past the ACC position into the lock position?
My key won't turn past the ACC position in my 1994 Toyota Camry. At first, the key was stuck in the ignition. After trying to remove it, I jiggled it a bit and it finally came out. The car can turn on without the key being in the ignition however it refuses to turn all the way left into the Lock position. I'm extremely worried about my battery drainage.

you have a bad tumbler. not to be confused with the ignition switch itself.
but just for sh*ts and giggles, take you key to a lock smyithy for copy. they can tell you if it maybe the issue or at least contributing to it. DO NOT go to a generic key copy place like in a hardware store.
if you can get it to the on/running position, this is how to remove the tumbler,

if you have an air bag, know what you're doing. and follow the page i linked. those can kill ppl if not handled correctly.
if you can't get it to the on/running position, gonna have to have a mobile smithy come help you. or drive it to one if possible. they don't cost very much if you go to them.
otherwise, gonna need someone to remove the steering covers, steering wheel and combo switch. disconnect the ignition switch, grind slots in the round headed mount screws to accept a flat blade screw driver for the locking bracket, remove 'em, and slide the entire locking mech off the steering shaft. then locate another at a wrecking yard. needs come with tumble and keys.
the online manaul link bellow can be used to reomve the locking housing and or entire steering shaft if needed.
good luck

Your steering wheel might be locked. Try moving your steering wheel right and left while twisting the key. If that doesn't work, you should call AAA or a local tow company to get it out for you.
