I'm guessing it is a premade mix by the direction so no milk or sugar is required

For the WHOLE BOX of mix,

You will need: 1 egg, 1/2 cup (1 stick) soft butter (room temperature). Real butter works best. Whipped butter, margarine, oils, or shortening products will affect cookie flavor and are not recommended.

Before You Begin: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. If necessary, soften cold butter in microwave on high power 10-15 seconds.

    1. Place egg and butter in medium bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed for 30 seconds. Add cookie mix and continue mixing on low speed for 1 1/2 minutes or until dough forms. (For Hand Mixing: Blend together egg and butter. Add cookie mix and stir until dough forms, hand kneading as necessary.)

    2. Shape dough into balls and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. (Use shiny, sturdy metal cookie sheet for best results.)

    3. Bake until light golden brown.

Yields: 12, 3 1/2 inch cookies, use 2 heaping tablespoons dough and bake 12-14 minutes.

for 24 2 1/2 inch cookies, use 1 rounded tablespoon dough and bake 10-12 minutes.

Cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely; store in a tightly covered container.

The second link you provided includes the Directions for preparing the cookies. I'm sure it's somewhere on your package as well, unless you didn't buy mix!
