Should I take Pre-calculus or Elementary statistics?

I failed my college algebra class and made an A in Quantitative skills and reasoning. I have to take one more math and my choices are Pre-calculus or Elementary Statistics. Which one do you think is more suited for me? (I'm an English major - might be switching to psychology but it's still up in the air.)

    Take elementary statistics.

Statistics, no doubt in my mind. Pre-calculus will be a lot harder than Algebra 2 because you thrown in a lot more trigonometry and things like radians, unit circle, etc. Statistics is much easier to grasp if math isn't your forte :)

Well... Take the Pre-Calc class. I don't mean to be rude but it isn't rocket science..

Shying away from the "harder" class and taking another course just for the possibility of a higher grade seems sheepish to me. Don't you want to learn?
