Not at all. My ex wife caught STDs 17 times from lavatory seats at work - she told me herself.

Nice dream but let's be real...that's never going to happen. There are other ways to prevent sexually transmitted diseases. And you seem to be suggesting that only "true" Christians wait until marriage - people of other religions do as well, you know.

Oops read question wrong, sorry. To answer your question, though, no. There are a few diseases that come from certain sexual acts that could infect married couples not to mention there are quite a few you can get from things other than sex. If you wiped the slate clean, it would be difficult, but still quite possible.

Except when you can contract an STD through non-sexual means like HPV or HIV/AIDS. Comprehensive sexual protection education and general hygiene does more to prevent new incidences of STDs than "saving it for marriage."

No, its not a realistic option. Look at the Catholic priests, they are living proof that it doesn't work. Condoms and the pill are better options along with being faithful to your loved one.

People have been known to catch STDs within marriage you know. Men seem to be allowed to sleep with whoever they wish and bring it home to their wives.

That would greatly reduce the infection rate of STDs - but it would not eliminate STDs.
