how much do you think this pony is worth?
well, i might be selling my pony soon and we arent sure about what price we may be able to get for her.
treasure is a 16 year old, 14.2hh connemara x arab, grey mare. dont be put off by her age as she didn't start proper wrk until she was about 9 and still acts like a 10 year old. she happily jumps courses of 1m easily and we have jumped up to 1m20 at home. she has been xc a lot and clears ditches, logs, walls, hedges, waters etc with ease.
we have had clinics with Nicola Wilson and Tim Stockdale and they had nothing but good things to say about treasure.
we have been to many events over tour time together, including xc sj, ode, dressage, show cross and hunter trials. she consistently scores into the 60's in dressage (our highest being 72%), she could do better with someone more committed to dressage.
she has been at the same home for 4 years now and is for sale due to no fault of her own. she would suit a competitive teenager and is not a novice ride.

how much would you pay for her? and is there anything else i should include in my description?
thank you:)
Thank you for all your lovely comments:) nice to know that others think my pony looks nice!!
Would just like to add that she is 100% to hack (alone and in company), shoe, clip etc, doesn't bite/kick/buck. She acts the same at a new place as she does at home. My mum calls her a "parents dream".

If she were here in America, I would say she would be worth between $2,000 and $5,000. Maybe more, but because she takes a skilled rider, and her age, even though she is in great health, age is age and it will slow her down sooner rather than later. Also she is a bit short and thick in the neck, and this will prevent her from being able to advance to the upper dressage portions. Overall she looks like a fantastic over fences mare, and is cute as a button. I'm not sure what going prices are in the UK, but she is a nice pony.

First, a quick tip for the photograph: proper click (in the event you use a macbook professional, it can be manage after which click on) the photograph after which click on "copy photo area." Now, to the pony. How lengthy have you ever been riding? If you've been riding for a whilst and think like you've got quite a few experience, this can be all right. On the other hand, if you have not been driving for a very long time, and are certainly upset when a horse bucks you, this pony might not be for you. Due to the fact that it's a buddy's pony, you'll be able to almost always need to get to grasp her. Journey her a few times, gain knowledge of her personality, and so on. Understanding the horse earlier than you buy it's always a good thing. When you don't love her, then i do not suppose your pal will have any hard feelings whilst you say "no." simply bear in mind, do not buy the pony considering that it's lovely, or meant to be a excellent horse. You'll be able to be aware of when the right one comes along.

I would say around $300-$5000 or for pounds 1500-2500
She is a lovely horse but her age is the only thing and she doesn't have amazing conformation. I had a horse he was a beautiful 13 year old, 15.3 WBxCob who did everything that your horse does and could even do a little higher in the jumping. He wouldn't sell at 2500 pounds so he ended up going for 1500 and then 2000 with the tack and rugs and everything.
Since the economy is so bad you won't get as much for her as you are probably hoping but you won't get to bad of a price also you can offer a higher price than you want then just say will accept reasonable offers.
Good luck!

My pony is a dressage mare and 11, (novice dressage/show pony) done some good shows. She's up for £2,800, but not selling.
I find people will pay so much more for one who can jump and do dressage. If I saw your pony on the horse quest website it would probably be worth £5000 upwards, people are asking for high prices still for older horses. Parents pay for something sane with the experience to win.
Put her up for the highest you feel, but with or nearest offer (ONO) but know yourself you'd reduce by a lot. If you can get a good amount of money then go for it!

Prices depend a lot on the local economy, and here in Central Cali, things are tough and nice horses are being sold for very little. So don't be insulted, but here that mare would go for $1800 US. 10 years ago she would have gone for closer to $4000 US.
Myself, I would not personally pay anything for the mare, and it's only because I've had 2 very nice horses given to me for nothing in the last year, and had several offers by others to just give me very nice horses, but I can't afford any more.
It's the economy here. Very very bad.

Where I live, she could easily sell for about US$5.000 or more. But like others have said, it all depends on local economy. Good luck, she's gorgeous and looks like an awesome horse!

She looks like an awesome horse! To be honest if I was in a position to buy a horse, I would seriously consider her! If she was in Canada (where I am) I would pay upwards of $5,000 for her! :)
