not sure if something is wrong with my laptop?

I was using my laptop yesterday and all of a sudden my cursor started blinking and every window I went on, it would go through everything like I had pressed the down arrow, but I wasn't touching it. is this fixable or is it part of some bigger problem with my computer?

Update:

I should probably mention that when I went on my computer again later, it wasn't happening.

    Good chance you had a keyboard problem and it went away. Maybe the down arrow key was momentary stuck.
