Do you have any coyotes around your house?
Sometimes I see one, two or all three at night
They haven't attacked any pets or humans but I'm still concerned

yes, we live in the city but we have coyotes wandering our neighbourhood fairly often. our cat population has dropped significantly due to the coyotes hunting them. you can hear them at night yipping and yapping at each other and the odd time you will hear a cat scream and you know whats happening.
we also see them where i work wandering about. last year we had a deer wandering the street at work. it had swam across the inlet we think and came up the banks to the street. it was quite frightened and skittish, we called the spca and they eventually showed up and tranq'd it and took it away.
we have not seen any bear yet so i'm grateful for that.

Yes, plenty. I live in a very remote area of SE AZ (Portal) and I either see or here them daily and nightly (I even howl with them if the mood strikes me). For the most part rural Coyotes are not a problem. They mainly eat rodents and snakes but are curious, as are most canines, about humans. Usually a loud holler or banging will frighten them off. However, they are susceptible to rabies and if a Coyote insists on coming closer rather than running away it should be considered rabid and eliminated (shot).
City Coyotes are another matter altogether. Many of them have lost there fear of man and will not be easily deterred by him. Additionally, they will prey upon what is easiest to catch. many times this will be smaller dogs and cats. They can become a nuisance in cities. It is probably best to call animal control if one is spotted in the city.
Overall, Coyotes should not be considered a menace. Yes, they are predators, just like man, but they help keep vermin at bay and adapt to new environment's better than any other animal I know. Remember, my friend, you are eight times their size, have a bigger brain, and have opposable thumbs. If a mere Coyote scares you, then you really shouldn't ever, ever leave your house...to many other, far worse, things lurk about our planet.

Yes, I personally haven't seen them but that doesn't mean they aren't there. I live in Los Angeles about 3 miles from the mountains in the suburbs and a coyote got into my fenced front yard and killed my chihuahua early one morning almost 2 years ago. Many of my neighbors had mentioned seeing them around previously but I didn't give it much thought. I called animal control after it happened but all they did was give me some pamphlets about coyotes and why they can't do **** unless a person is threatened. Even then they would just take it back to the mountains not kill it. I am now very careful when taking out my mini pinscher. She's never left outside alone. I found out later that one of my retarded neighbors was leaving food out for them.

I might be able to help you here. My mom and I are trying to train my two dogs too, because the boy jumps and nips people. So to train them "Sit, stay, come," etc, you should probably with buying some books on it. Read here https://tr.im/zkYaQ
Explore and see what information people can give you. If you go on twice a day walks, you'd be surprised how many people walking dogs you can chat with and find information!
OK. You can also start by treats/toys. For toys, keep a secret selection of different-flavored bones somewhere, and when the dogs do something well, give them a bone. For treats you do the same. I would probably stick with the bones, because the dogs can get overweight with too many treats. So when your dog is calm and just kind of walking around, pat his behind a little and say loud and clearly, "Sit!" Not roughly, just kind of hold the word like your singing. Your voice should be effective, but sweet. If the dog doesn't automaticlly sit, that's okay. Just try it again until he does. Once your dog sits, you give him whatever the prize is.

I don't think they are in my country, but there's a few snakes around here. I heard one out in the back last night, but couldn't find it when I went out in the garden. I hear one in the attick also. My neighbour was looking for his pet in the garden. Not sure if he found it. There are a lot of weeds :) They should keep them under better control, but the snake may have a higher IQ :[]
I do like snakes, but mine broke my heart. I must show you of snake around my neck, like a scarf. Mine are ok, but you don't know what may happen if neighbours snake gets in, hopefully not a fright or fight. Large constrictor.

Hear them every night at the local dump, but hardly ever see them. They keep the rat population down, also local cat population too.
