I am currently in a 2 year contract with Sprint. I plan on canceling in July after the $0.25 text-to-landline rate change goes into effect seeing how it affects me. Since I plan to get out of my contract early and without paying the ETF I was wondering if when I cancel my contract will it cancel my service right away or do I still have time to port over my number since I don't want to lose it?

My aunt is currently taking a masters class in catholic formation and one of the questions asked in the homework had to do with brotherhood or togetherness. Now the teachers put a lot of emphasis on us being united and working together and loving each other but sometimes they fail to see that they are not exactly practicing what they preach. One example is that they constantly separate themselves from the students even during the breaks. And when one of the team gets invited to another table for lunch ( with the students) they always say no. Now I can see where in a regular class this would be typical but in a catholic class full of adults who are constantly talking about togetherness, I frankly don't. In the homework, she took the time to briefly mention that to her observation the teachers were not taking their own advice. The head teacher immediately brought this mention to her attention during the next class and got very angry. The teacher said that she had no right to tell her what to do and if she didn't like how things were being done then she could just leave.

My church has a spanish prayer group that many attend but not me and people often ask me why that is. The truth is that I find it counterproductive not to mention disrespectful at the volume that the choir plays during these sessions. The music can be heard all the way down the block with the doors closed and when you're inside you can't hear yourself think not to mention you can't even make out the words of the song they're singing. And they expect you to get in touch with God during all this? Don't think so. All I get is a migraine. Instead of raising my spirits it just brings me down.

I just went to the supermarket with my mom and while we were there she saw some guy sneeze, wipe his nose with his hand and then wipe his hand on some kids bouncy balls that were nearby. And according to my mom he pushed his hand in to get some of the ones on the bottom, too. She confronted him about it and he said to mind her own damn business and not be a snitch. She then told some store employees and the store manager because he then went off to go to the produce section. Did she over react or was this the right thing to do?

Sometimes I have some questions about what they teach in church but I don't mention them because when ever I do my mom, who is a religious education teacher, says that's the devil is making me doubt. But how are we to learn properly if we don't ask questions?

Today we had a party with some family and friends. My brother and me left for about 30 minutes to go to the store and when we get back we here a lot of yelling. It turn out my 8 pound chihuahua bit my cousin's hand. For the record my cousin is 8 and the bite was a scratch that didn't even break skin and yes my dog has had his shots. Well we went to see what happened my mom was standing in front of the doggy gate to stop my aunt from going in to the laundry room and hurting my dog. In the state she was in I don't doubt that she could have killed him. Then when we tried to reason with her she just got worse. She started screaming at everyone because we wouldn't let her through and my brother finally yelled at her to just leave. Things really went downhill then. She was getting her things and her daughter to leave but she wanted to leave through the side door which is through the laundry room. I went in and stood at the door of the little dog house ,where my dog was cowering in fear, so she couldn't get at him. She tried though and then my brother, mom , dad, and I just tried to get her to leave but she was hysterical. When we tried to get her to leave , because she was still trying to get to the dog house, she tried to take a swing at my mom. My dad and brother got really pissed at that and since they were between us and her they tried to just push her out of the house. She started fighting them and that's when she slapped my brother. My dad and brother finally got her out , but not before my cousin hit my dad a few times. While this is happening everyone is still here witnessing everything. It's not 5 minutes later that she starts calling the house , and leaving messages since we didn't answer, saying all kinds of **** about us and threatening us. She finally stops calling 2 hours after she left. So what do you think?

I want to make my dog a bed but I need a strong fabric because he likes to chew and scratch at it and it's not long before there's a hole in it.

I have a portable TV and I want to know if it will still work after the transition. Do I have to buy a converter for it or what?

My mom lent my uncle $1000 over 1 year ago and he has a cellphone that she is paying for (with her credit card) and that he said he would give her the cash each month for it. It's been over a year and he's only given her $500 to pay for the phone. He said he has no money but he does have money to take his kids to disneyland and other amusement parks every other month, buy a new computer and printer, get cable and internet, and buy a PSP. And he gets all pissed off when my mom asks him when he's going to pay her back . He says he knows he owes her and he'll pay her but he never does. I personally think a big part of this is his son's fault because he is envious of my brother and wants to have everything he does and he has probably been pressuring my uncle to buy him all this stuff. I mean my brother bought himself a psp and a few weeks later my cousin got one just like it.

A guy sleeps with this girl and supposedly gets her pregnant while his girlfriend is out of the country and now he has to pay child support for the baby but the girl is known to sleep around and is really bad news. Many of the guys relatives think he's not the father, that she just told him that to get money out of him and to complicate his life. I mean she shows up without warning just to bother him and his girlfriend, now his wife who he also has a baby with, when it's his turn to have their baby. They've told him to get a paternity test but he won't do it because he knows her and thinks if it turns out he isn't the father the baby could be in for a worse life with just her. Can someone just take a hair sample or something from the baby and the guy without their knowing and do a paternity test to get out of doubts or is it illegal?
