Idle speed adjustment 2006 BMW 530i N52 engine?

Is there an idle speed adjustment on a 2006 BMW 530i w/ N52 engine automatic transmission [US spec 3 liter]? Can it be done without expensive or special tools. If so, where is is the adjustment and how do you do it?

Update:

My 530i is an early production 2006. There is a known issue as the engine was redesigned between 2005 and 2006 models for more HP. There is a growl from the exhaust at idle and it disappears if I increase RPM. There is a TSB on it dated 2009 but my stealership blew me off while it was under warranty and now wants $650 to add the fix in the TSB - a harmonic balancer on the exhaust system to cancel the bad vibes.

why do you need to adjust the idle speed? unless you modified the engine, the factory idle speed is the best. the idle speed is controlled by the ecu. if you want access to it, you need a laptop, a cable that connect the laptop to the ecu and the software that can modified the date in the ecu.

    update**

i dont know how you could add a "harmonic balancer" on the exhaust system, is that the part driven off the crankshaft for the belt drive system? i would suggest go to a bmw forum and ask how other e60 owner resolve this problem. you couldnt be the only one who got caught under this TSB. or just call from bmw tuning and see how much they charge to raise the idle speed for you. sounds weird to me that raising the idle speed could cure the problem tho.

You would have another problem than just turning up the idle. Bmw has the idle designed for where it's at specifically, for going when your foot is off the brake to selecting gears and throttle response. Each cylinder is timed on its own and adjusted in the ecu and constant adjust on every stroke. Technically you can change the idle with specific tools but it's something that should never be done unless you're tuning for better performance, with bigger injectors, turbos, throttle bodies, intake manifolds, things like that. There are harmonic balancers on the updated e60 that could possibly change your growl. The 530 fist had the m54 motors placed in them as you'll see in earlier 5 series and 3 series, shortly after the m54 was put in the e60 they came out with the n52 which had major problems with first production of cylinder pistons would just explode in the block, they adjusted it and kept the motor for 2006 and introduced the n52tu which you can tell by the updated black cover.
