What NFL Football Team Has The Most Intimidating Image/Reputation?

The Raiders. When Al Davis was alive there wasn't a dirtier team out there. Everything about them says intimidation. The name, the color black, the football version of the jolly roger flag. The black hole is probably the best name for a fan section in the NFL. Their fans reputation as being hooligans is overstated quite a bit though. I've been there a number of times as a Chiefs fan and never had any problems, it's mostly Raider fan on Raider fan violence that I've witnessed.

I'd have to go Raiders. They're notorious for their players and their fans beating up people on and off the field. Year after year they have the most penalties in the league, a lot of which are from hitting too hard or too late. I heard an interview with an ex-Raider who admitted that even though their team wasn't very good, other teams were scared to play them simply because they would injure so many players, and he was proud of this reputation.

So yeah.

Id say the Raiders have the most intimidating fans in the NFL especially if your in Oakland

Teams all time i would say the Steelers are one of the most intimidating teams because they have always been tough.

The Pats since Brady arrived have intimidated defenses for years

The Ravens with Ray Lewis at middle intimidated alot of offenses for a decade

A lot of people are saying the Raiders. I disagree. They’re like that obnoxious kid who antagonizes everyone else, gets his $#@%# whopped and still talks trash. I’m going to go with the Steelers. They’re a no nonsense, blue collared team that will straight up punch you in the mouth and step on your throat.

As a Chiefs fan, I'm usually tend to be worried about Green Bay. I guess for me it just depends on who's top dog at the time

Fanwise I would never venture to the Black Hole but I'd have my team go play the Raiders every week.

70s - Raiders/Steelers

80's - Bears/Eagles/Raiders/49ers

90's - Cowboys/Eagles

2000's - Ravens/Steelers

Raiders used to be.. Now no one is afraid of them.....
