my list is very short; i  thought of including the rock and stone cold but somewhat hesitated in putting there name's on my list;so here is my list:

1.hulk hogan: in all fairness "tery gene bollea" and vince jr mcmahon came up with the gimmick of hulk hogan/hulkmania after vince purchased WWF from his father in late 1982; and that led to birth of a new,better,modified and charismatic WWF and even the legendary "hogan era"! 

2.The Undertaker: Sometime in 1990, Calaway was cast as a bounty hunter in the movie Suburban Commando, alongside WWF Champion Hulk Hogan. Hogan had seen Calaway wrestling for WCW and offered to bring him over to the WWF. Having just left WCW, Calaway accepted. Hogan introduced Calaway to Vince McMahon, who gave him the gimmick of The Undertaker, based on a mortician from old Western movies.As you all know,"rest is history"!

i don't know if you will agree with me or not but the third greatest gimmick creation of vince mcmahon was none other than "the most polarizing figure in WWE history" your's truly;

3.John cena:Cena made his television debut answering an open challenge by Kurt Angle on June 27, 2002.Inspired by a speech given by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to the rising stars of the company, exhorting them to show "ruthless aggression" to earn a place among the legends, Cena took advantage of the opportunity to face Angle. And again as we all know "rest is history"!

KANE.

Kane is the most successful masked wrestler in history. Everyone (even non-wrestling fans) know Kane or are familiar with the images of Kane. Supposedly, The Undertaker made his WWF debut as "Kane The Undertaker" (no mask), but the Kane part was dropped and they kept it as "The Undertaker".

Vince had a super talent in Glenn Jacobs but was having a hard time using him properly. Vince was thinking on how to expand and experiment with The Undertaker from his usual "Taker vs Monster" storylines, and all of a sudden he thought:

"YOUNGER BROTHER!... BURNED HIS FAMILY!... SCARRED FOR LIFE!... WEARS A MASK TO HIDE HIS SCARS!... HE'S HIDEOUS!... HE'S EVIL!... HE'S A MONSTER!... HE IS KANE!!!"

Yep!

I say Kane is Vince's greatest creation.

I don't think you can give him credit for Cena per se, but the rest I do agree with.  I'd also throw Mankind on the list.

When it comes to The Rock and Stone Cold, I think Vince capitalized more on them than he actually did create their gimmicks.  Stone Cold was doing the anti-corporate thing in ECW and the Rock was essentially just Dwayne Johnson finally snapping on the crowd after getting negative face reaction.  

I'd also put the character of Mr. McMahon on the list.  I know it sounds strange, but Vince's greatest creation is probably his on-air persona.

1.Hulk Hogan was created by Vince,Sr.
2.The Undertaker was created by someone else too.
3.John Cena wasn't created.He's just himself.

The best thing Vince created was Demolition and he based them on the Road Warriors.

Definitely the Drew McIntyre gimmick, he was invincible with that gimmick, it's a shame where he is now tho.
