Most popular names where you live?

Obviously I understand if you don't want to give out where you live, but the smallest indication would be helpful! I'm wondering how popular baby names vary around the world- where I live in South East England every child under the age of 4 seems to be called Mia, Zachary, Finley or Lily! How about you?

    Girls: Charmain

    Ilze,Lieze, Liezl

    Annemarie

    Mia

    Nina

    Mika

    Core, Corne, Corrie, Corlea

    Elzane, Elzanie, Elsie, Elise

Boys tend to be more traditional. Like Willem, Jaco, Jaques, Tobie, Wynand, Stafan, Mathys, Paul, Pieter, Johan, Francois, Burger, Ben. And people tend to lean toward English sounding names for thier sons, like William, James, John.

Well, as a teenager, I dont know many small children! The ones I do know are named Mia, Braxton, Peyton, Gwyneth, Georgina, Caitlin, Nevaeh (why) and yeah :)

In my year level (born '95-'96), the most common names are Ben, Mitch, Matt, Alex, Liam, Tom, Sam, Sarah, Brooke, Emily, Maddie.

But mostly Ben (i know 8 that are my age) and Sarah (i know about 10 that are my age) so they are the most boring names to me.

Nevaeh is a very popular girl name around here. I live in IL in the US. Everyone seems to think its unique but I know about 5 people who named their daughter nevaeh which is of course Heaven spelled backward.
