I have a Power Acoustik MOFO 12-Inch Competition Subwoofer Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coils, can it be wired do 1ohm?

I have the sub wired to a  POWER ACOUSTIK BAMF4000/1D BAMF SERIES CLASS D MONO AMPLIFIER. I've had them both for well over a year and the subs it hit hard and the amp is flawless, but I want to hear them hit harder. I have a feeling that it can't be done with this sub, If it can it would be great to know!

Yes. You can wire it for 4 or 1 ohm load.

You can wire them down to 1ohm regardless of whether they are 2 or 4 ohm bro.

If you're saying each voice coil is 2 ohm which makes the sub 4 ohm, then no you cant, the lowest you can go is 2 ohm like this

If you mean the sub is 2 ohms dual voice coiled, then yup, it can be wired down to 1 ohm
