Do you feel different while seeing cricket match these days?

Yes, so different that I have stopped watching the game since I heard about the corruption in players.

I was of an opinion that sports men are the best class of human beings with a high moral back ground.

I honestly didn't get a chance to watch these matches concerned so might not have full insights. Sehwag had no reason to withdraw his appeal, he was within full rights. It was completely in the spirit of the game, what the batsman was trying to do was not. No need for a warning either by the bowler. If the batsman doesn't want to get out then stay in the crease. If it was clear he was running to make a run and then when saw that he might be out. Raises his hands that he has an injury then he should be given out. But there is also benefit of the doubt, he actually might have pulled something or genuine injury. If he is injured not likely he will dive its stupid. Hussey is not the kind of player from his record who would try something funny. He is a trustworthy player. Intentionally or unintentionally bowlers should not stand in the middle. Batsmen need to run to score, so they should be off the pitch immediately. I don't know what the circumstances were, but if bowler is on the pitch a rule should be made batsman shall not be given out. Bowlers should be of the pitch. Its batsman's right not the bowlers. With his hands on the hips what was he doing standing there in the first place? Umpires should admonish such bowlers regardless of who it is. I don't know about the rest of the circumstances, but it is being suggested Tendulkar didn't even bother ground his bat. And with or without Lee standing there he would've been out. This law should be clarified now IMO regardless. That if bowler intentionally or unintentionally stands on the pitch hindering the batsman. The batsman shall not be given out. I always hate that.

I am sure everyone who is watching IPL must be getting these negative thoughts heavily spoiling the taste of enjoying the roller-coaster cricket called T-20.

This is a good example of how dearly we pay for corruption.... it spoils the entire show for everyone even remotely connected and not actually involved in the act or abetting it. The society pays for every bit of corruption. This is what really proves the immense intrinsic value of 'justice' and 'truth'. If corruption in sports can give us such jitters and misgivings, just imagine what we are in for due to corruption in key areas like education, social service, charity, politics, health services etc.!!

And let's not beat around the bush...... it's not just the third world countries or developing nations like India or China alone..... the malaise is widespread covering almost all nations and the entire humanity..... more importantly, it is not only driven by economics, but also all other aspects of human aspirations and aims.

The media hype about spot fixing may lead to the casual fans feeling like that . But the cricket fans that are passionate followers of the game simply know that some bad elements in the game have always been involved . Its that these T20 leagues have made it a large scale thing lately.

The international matches are mostly clean these days because the ICC anti corruption unit has been strongly builiding measures after the 2001 Cronje scandal .

but yes in the domestic t20 leagues i'm always doubtful about every match not only because its crowded with cricketers from different countries joining up as teammates with no real purpose except money, but on top of that there is no established anti corruption committee seeing it. The glamor shows and parties of team managements work like a smoke to hide it all .

sorry but you are missing some bigger picture its not pakistan or dubai ..its india the bigger market for bookies ..Indian police need to stop these bookies otherwise their failure could corrupt whole cricket .....Yeah what will be the point of watching sport if you think players are not giving 100% but think again maybe .01 % players are corrupt which is far less than most of the people surrounded by you ..so cricket is still better than most of the other aspect of the society.. I always feel those who are sports person are somehow far better & bigger hearted than us general people cz they have take the risk for the love of the sports ..they have sacrificed a lot for where they are now ..so show some respect for those guys who are trying hard ,doing their best to keep this sport clean

Nope, everybody are not like that.. and if I start thinking like that, I cannot enjoy the game, soi won't. I might be fooled, but I enjoy every moment while watching a cricket match..

Well I can see your point as far as IPL is concerned,one has to wonder if they are watching the real thing or another 'fixed' match & it does tend to spoil the game.I think most international matches are genuine,there has only been a few instances of corrupt dealing with Indian bookmakers and all were dealt with accordingly.I spare myself by never watching IPL,maybe you should do the same.

Politics nothing else in cricket also It is better to withdraw in favour of some one instead of contesting election. It pays

more as well as not spending party fund on election but to safely consuming for self .

Don't get that feeling in International matches. But yeah, getting that feeling in IPL.
