Is it likely that the US goes to war with Syria or Iran?

How likely is each? Where would ground troops be involved? Also, assuming Al Assad is topples in syria, is it true that the US is going to send about 40,000 troops to secure the chemical weapons? Thnx

The US won't go there. The people don't want to. The government knows it's not worth the trouble. Assad seems to have the upper hand again. It's too costly, and quite frankly. Who cares?

Not going to happen as long as Obama is in office. Even if he wasn't, I don't think it'd be very likely. As for that 40,000 troops, I would imagine that that would happen after Assad falls and that would be to make sure that Al Qaeda and other extremists don't get the chemical weapons. Iran, I totally expect Israel to take care of them.

    Not likely at all.

The only way the U.S. would send it troops is under United Nations sanctions and Russia would veto that idea.

Israel Will take care of both of them.
