Will I get my period again next week?
Next week, I am going to my girl scout encampment. My first period started two days ago, and my best friend told me that I'll get it again next weekend because there are a lot of girls and women around each other. However, I find that difficult to believe, because I just got mine two days ago, and it's not supposed to repeat for 28 days. Encampment lasts three days- this Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning. Is it true that I'll get my period yet again?

That is not true. Sometimes when women ( like Moms and sisters) in close proximity have periods, their periods might start to sync. This is your first period. You might not even have a period next month. Stop worrying. Your period might come between 28 to 32 days. 28 days is just a guide. It is not unusual to skip several months after your first period. This is normal.

No you dont keep getting periods because you are around other women. That only applies to when your period comes and you have been around a girl for awhile your periods kind of link together so you both get them at the same time

Lies.
Your cycle is 28 days, give or take. Once this cycle ends, your next one won't start until about 28 days later (could be 21 days, could be 32 but definitely not one week)
