Next week, I am going to my girl scout encampment. My first period started two days ago, and my best friend told me that I'll get it again next weekend because there are a lot of girls and women around each other. However, I find that difficult to believe, because I just got mine two days ago, and it's not supposed to repeat for 28 days. Encampment lasts three days- this Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning. Is it true that I'll get my period yet again?

I began with an image with a white background. I pasted it into GIMP and used the magic wand tool to select the white background, like I always have. I then clicked "edit --> clear", once again like I always have. However, instead of making the background transparent, it simply remained white. It has always made the background transparent, but now it just fills it with the background colour. Does anyone know how to fix my predicament?

I'm looking for long (3+ syllable) boy names that are elegant, sophisticated, and uncommon, such as Romanov (which I particularly like.) Thank you, and I need all the suggestions I can get!

My friend and I are looking for a name for her ponysona, or her pony self. I am looking for a name that sounds like a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic name (not a real pony name). Whenever someone even mentions puking or nausea, I get shaky and dizzy. When someone pukes right in front of me, I have shortness of breath and feel like the world is closing in on me, as well as the urge to run as far as I can and awful shakiness. I avoid anything that might make me puke. I'm hit with panic attacks on airplanes and boats because I'm afraid someone else will puke. I don't know if I have it or not. Any thoughts?

My two year old female guinea pig Polychromia died a few weeks ago. My guinea pig Jeanette lived in the same cage with her until a few weeks before she died. Jeanette has a vitamin C deficiency and sore legs. She has been having snuggle time with my five year old buck mini lop rabbit and seems to be fine, but I really don't want her to die too. The question is, should she have a guinea pig friend? (after she gets over her illness)

I'm not sure if my guinea pig Jeanette is okay or not. She was raised with my other guinea pig Polychromia, and until now (we bought Jeanette her own cage) they shared a cage. Polly has been nibbling at Jeanette's ears, mostly one ear, and now the one is just a bloody stump and the other is half the normal size. They are both sows and 2 years old. Jeanette nibbles on Polly's ears too, but Polly's ears are pretty much normal besides a few nicks. Jeanette is much smaller than Polychromia and she only moves a little, she is weak and thin and her coat is dull and there used to be patches of hair loss. Polly has always been the dominant pig, being much bigger and sometimes Polly pushes Jeanette away. Jeanette now has her own cage, water bowl, and food bowl. Jeanette and Polly were very close, and they have been seen snuggling. Is Jeanette going to be okay? I would be devastated if she died.

ok so my FIRST Silly Band ever [the giraffe] broke. I really need help and don't have a lighter! My tie-dye penguin broke too, and my friend broke my phoenix! Please help!!! And I can't buy another one because they were gifts from my friend who is now in the hospital with cancer! I don't want to hear "Buy more" or "They're cheap go buy some more".
