Missed period this month, Do I still ovulate?
my period is about 9 days late, I am not pregnant..Took test & had blood test done. I was wondering if I still ovulate even though I missed my period this month? ..Also im having white discharge (no STD's or anything) like I normally do during ovulation..Which would be right because I ovulate around the normal 10-14 days after your period.
I came off of depo (after 6 months) at the end of feb, Got my period back in april, But now no period? I called my doctor and he just said it might take a little bit longer to my body to go back to normal has this happened to anyone else? Did they get pregnant?

It sounds like you're ovulating late; your cycle might be kind of screwy for awhile (like a 56 day cycle instead of a 28 day one). Mine definitely was when I came off Depo. You can still get pregnant though, so if you're trying to avoid that, use some kind of protection. My sister ended up accidentally pregnant three months after coming off Depo because she mistakenly believed she wasn't ovulating yet since she hadn't gotten her period back.

You can still be irregular from coming off the depo, your doctor is absolutely correct. You could have a period, go 6 weeks without one, then get one, and get another one 3 weeks later, then a month later (for example). Every woman reacts differently to coming off depo, but it definitely could take several months for things to get back to normal.
You're not going to be able to predict when you'll ovulate during this time. A woman ovulates 14 days BEFORE her next period comes, so you won't know when it's happening for sure when you're irregular. If you don't want to get pregnant, assume you could always be ovulating and use protection.

You ovulate two weeks after your period depending on your body type, genetics, and hormones. If you're not getting your period, you shouldn't be ovulating.
Ovulation is the process of an ovary releasing an egg. If you are not ovulating, then no, you can't get pregnant. I have personally taken the depo. I was on it for over 2 years but had to come off it because gained a lot of weight.
It took months for my body to bleed regular once a month. If you had your period and then had sex within the ovulation time frame, you could possibly be pregnant and the tests would be invalid because it would be too soon to tell.
Don't stress yourself out about being pregnant. Stress will delay your period further. I didn't get a period for 3 months because I thought I might be prego. It will take time for you body to get in the swing of things. Good luck.
