Liberals, if the scandals are just Republican mud slinging, shouldn't they be investigated anyway?
These are some pretty serious allegations that are being brought up. I think they should be investigated regardless of truth. If they are false the mainstream media will seize the opportunity to destroy the Republicans. If true they will expose the corruption and America will gain. I see little point in simply denying them because you believe they are untrue when the attacks are unrelenting.
Agree or disagree and why.
@Michael B You won't even consider the possibility that there might be more than is being let on? Such unrestrained trust in authority is not wise. Imagine if the same standard had been applied to Nixon.

They are being investigated ... that's how it became a news story.
Personally, I would rather we focus more attention on the 26 THOUSAND women who are sexually assaulted in the military every year. There are only 214 thousand women in the military so that means over 12% are being attacked. PER YEAR.

Another thing to think about... what happens to these criminals when they get out of the military after they have succeeded in getting away with sexual assault? You think they will suddenly be better people? Now think about how often these vets become police officers.
Finally .... do you want to live in a society like Egypt or India where your sisters and daughters are not safe to walk down the street or ride a bus without someone to protect them.

No. Instead of wasting time on Faux News ginned-up "scandals," we need to be working on creating JOBS! Boehner promised in 2010 to focus on jobs like a "laser beam." Where are the jobs? THAT should be investigated.
