Will the Blue Jay's make the playoff's this year?
Everybody was saying at the very beginning of the year that the Blue Jays were going to WIN the world series lol...I was the only one that knew how bad they are year to year :)
Their record as of today is 18-26, not even a playoff contending team, so let me know if you think they will make the playoff's? I am a Jay's fan they just **** me off how bad they are.

The AL East is easily the toughest division. The Yankees are always good, the Red Sox have been doing well, and the Orioles continue to look like they have a shot at making the playoffs 2 years in a row after a 15-year drought. So if you ask me, it looks like a battle for fourth place between the Rays and the Jays. I said at the very beginning of the season that the Jays were overrated and they have only proved me right, and now they have Jose Reyes injured.

Early info shows McGowan is back to 2007 form. He could win 15 games. Averaging 15 for Cecil, Romero, and Morrow as well throw in 10 for Alvarez that makes 70 wins from the starters. Toss in 20 more from the pen and 90 wins is possible. Last 4 years 90 wins would put the team into 5th place in the American League. New wild card team puts 90 wins in the playoffs. It's possible.

Once again the AL East is proving to be the toughest and deepest division in baseball. Unless the Jays do a complete 180, there is no way they make the playoffs. As it is they will be lucky to play .500 ball.

I also said that they wouldn't be a good team and looks like I was right. I don't see them making the playoffs and I didn't see them doing it at the beginning of the year either.

Yes, think about it we are 18-26 while Reyes has been injured, lind-lawrie-bautista-Melky have not played up to their potential and our pitching has been horrible. Looking back at our last 10 games, our offense finally seems to be improving. Dickey and burhle seem to have turned things around and Johnson and Morrow will only follow. Lastly god hates the yankees and red soxs so we're the only choice he has left.

I dont think they will make the playoffs because, the Yankees and Red Sox are just too good this year, and the Orioles are likely to be third, and Rays to be 4th, and sorry to say Jays last..

Going against the two best payrolls in baseball, they don't stand a chance.

They would have to go on a hell of a winning streak while the rest of the AL East slips.

It appears, as of today, that they may not...but never give up hope my friend.
