It makes no difference where you pray. In fact, it is better to pray alone. But remember God will not just make your feelings of loneliness disappear. We have feelings for a reason. Right now it is very raw and the emotions feel overwhelming. But this will pass in time and become easier to deal with.

But no, it makes no real difference where you pray.

Yeah but make sure you are in a prayer circle not a prayer square and defintley not a prayer oval(obvious sarcasm) prayer isnt a genie in a bottle its meant to give you peace not what you want. You make your request known to god and you put it in his hands whatever happens after that we are promised its for our good so be at peace

God hears you no matter where you are. But I'd recommend going to a Catholic church and pray in the presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. He will be there and he will whisper words of love into your heart.

Try this prayer, In or out of Church.

    WARFARE PRAYER

In the name of Jesus, I take authority over all the powers of darkness that are coming against me. This is the Lord’s house, the Lord’s family, I am the Lord's -how dare you put your hand on me. Every unclean spirit, I declare you are a liar and a trespasser – this is my turf and I walk in the delegated authority of the Lord here in this place. The battle is the Lord’s and I speak as his direct representative here. So therefore, I decree you have no right here and you must bow the knee to the authority of the Lord and leave – NOW!

I have been given authority over all the power of the enemy and nothing by any means shall harm me. I speak to this mountain of adversity that you have brought and I command it to be removed and cast into the sea. I speak confusion to all your plans and schemes and demand that all injustice, all false accusations, all robbing, all strife, all rebellion, and all sickness and disease that has taken place cease in Jesus name. I demand justice and refuse all the injustices you have caused. I declare that every one of your schemes will be exposed and brought to the light, so it can be properly dealt with and destroyed.

I forgive all those men and women, whether saved or lost, who have been used as the devil’s pawns to pull me down. I break the power of all curses or witchcraft that they have perpetrated against me and I ask you Lord to forgive them and bring them to understanding and repentance – and salvation, if necessary.

I refuse all FEAR, DEPRESSION, DISCOURAGEMENT, CONFUSION, LETHARGY OR HOPELESSNESS; and everything else that Satan may throw against me, and receive only what is from the Lord. We are His ambassadors, we are His representatives, we are His priests and kings, we are servants of the Most High God; we bow the knee only to Him and worship Him only. We will walk through the valley of death and fear no evil because He is with us, and He will never leave or forsake us. We trust totally in Him and not what we hear or see.

Lord – you are my hope, refuge, my redeemer. I put myself in Your hands, trusting completely in You. As Your covenant partner, I lift up my hands and ask You to take charge of the battle and submit totally to You. I ask for wisdom from above and strategies with which to go forth and make a public display of the enemy – and let everything be done in such a manner that You get all the glory.

And I pray this all in the authority of the Holy, Mighty, and covenant name of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ, before whom all should bow of those in heaven, on earth, and under the earth – and every one confess that He is Lord.

This prayer is not designed to be just read to yourself, but rather one that should be spoken out loud in faith, so it will act as a sword, cutting through all the schemes and intentions of the enemy. This is a warrior’s prayer designed to expose, to attack, to push back the powers of darkness who are the real enemies behind the scenes. As written, this prayer is in general form. It should be tailored to your individual needs, so any schemes directly against you and your family should be included in its text (examples; divorce, pornography, fear, anger, abandonment, betrayal, witchcraft, etc.) It is a warfare tool to be used at least once every day.
