What kind of energy radiation in large dose affects the human body in just this way ...?
it reddens the skin slightly at the knees and along the legs, causing the outer skin to compress inward toward the underlying connective tissue, making the blood veins and vesicles to dilate and lie very close to the surface of the skin itself. Would high levels of Ultraviolet rays or X-rays have that affect on living tissues?

Way more is going on than what I have mentioned thus far. I weigh 180 lbs at 5' 10" with relatively normal body fat. Health is good with no contributing mental or physical disease. However, I am being targeted by some sort of energy that is being used to wake me very nearly every morning between 4 and 5:30 a.m. This effect has been going on for sometime now and is clearly the product of some kind of technology. Infrared red imaging camera video recording shows hot spots appearing on my body, while I am sleeping, almost as if by a laser beam or beams. The IR camera showed unexplained sudden increase of my body temperature, systematically spreading over my body during these targeting episodes, and then just fall back to a normal body temperature. My whole body gets targeted but the effects seems to show up more readily at my kneecaps and lower legs. The skin color on both my feet have changed, looking darker than the rest of my legs. Thanks so much for your comments and thoughts. What is happening to me is also happening to many, many others in the United States and other places around the world. These 'effects' are very complex and cannot be fully described here, but 1000s of human beings world wide are all experiencing the same phenomena. The feed back that I get from other victims is that their pets are either killed off by this energy or made very, very sick.
A geiger counter might be useful in detecting the presence of this energy, but detection isn't so much of a problem as getting someone of sufficient social, political, economic, and academic standing to evaluate the evidence and would be willing to bring it to the attention of the public on a world scale, is the problem. Not nearly enough info Bob, sounds like a breakdown of fatty tissue, do you have normal amount of fat in obvious areas eg belly? Photos would be useful, could be anything from allergy especially from meds.
Diabetic? Heart problems? Circulatory?
Would definitely check autoimmune connection also.
If radiation, why just your legs? Unless there's something you're not telling us, more info please.
First look to why it's mainly the legs, knees and feet. What do you wear or not wear on legs that you do on top, try sleeping on the couch for a week, take a long vacation, different environment see if there's any improvement, change detergents, avoid nylon, " not trying to insinuate anything". get checked for diabetes, remember it can onset out of the blue. Eat the same two meals for a week then a different two, note if anything changes.
You're a smart guy Bob so I know you'll have kept record of times, durations, slow or rapid onset each night, environmental factors, eg nearby power lines, pylons, generators,tube stations.
Who do you live with? Are they affected?
Had you changed address before first onset? had you changed anything? Think back.
There are countless possibilities but like you said yourself, there's no problem too large, all can be resolved with thought and perseverance.
If you're serious about radiation get a pet mouse, bird, gold fish, see if they are affected.
Consider buying a geiger counter, or hire one from a builders merchant.
Consider also, the possibility everything is pre determined , perhaps your time is to be spent on important work at home rather than elsewhere. I'm in a similar situation myself.
