After a second term election the media ratings go down. Fox starts the fake scandal season for ratings. Liberals turn off the TV when other stations talk about it.

I would not say it is "proof" of brain washing, more like the decline in intellect or the desire for truth,
It is well known that "up-beat" news sells better than news about reality like the really economic condition, It is also believed that the fiction of positive economic growth will stimulate the economy more than truth. It is all political, like calling a depressed economic a recession because no one wants to be reminded of the depression of the 1930, although the last 7 years has been a mirror image of that history

No it isn't a proof at all!!!
I don't watch MSNBC either, because like Fox they are only telling you what you want to hear, only Fox is ten times worse!!!
And if that is what you call proof, then you are intellectually impaired at best, anyone who listens to and believes that unqualified Galoot Hannity must be dumber than a box of rocks!!!

No it isn't "proof" of any such thing.
Lacking "proof" for my position, I would opine that the fickle affinities of the delusional are not evidence of anything. How would I begin to decide between to two nakedly partisan networks as to who was telling the "truth" without adopting a great amount of denial that these two networks make no bones about the direction they skew?

Fake Professional Wrestling has more viewers than Fox News. Does that mean Fake Professional Wrestling is of a higher quality?

No. Just the opposite. The ratings show that the righties sought out the misinformation they wanted to hear.
