i don't no what 4b(b+4)=0 is.. HELP!?

    Since it is 4b multipied by b+4 and anything multiplied by zero is zero, either of those can be zero:

    4b = 0

    b = 0

    b + 4 = 0

    b = -4

    So b = 0 or b = -4.

    4b squared + 16b = 0

    4b squared = -16b

    4b = -16

    b = -4
