Will an i3-2120 bottleneck an HD 7950oc?

    maybe in very CPU intensive games like Starcraft

    mostly in real time strategy games

    No not really, unless you play a game like planetside 2 (which for some reason is heavily cpu bassed) and/or run programs while gaming/video editing or something. I suggest looking at the i5 or at least i3k(for that over-clocking ability) versions for a better performance if you plan on multi tasking more :)

    To be honest i wouldn't go no farther than a amd hd 7770 with a i3-2120
