I have just bought an HD 7950 gpu for my rig (it will arrive tomorrow) . I know my cpu will need upgrading soon, however I'm not too worried about that. Upon ordering this gpu I did some more research on PSUs and I'm starting to be doubtful, however I REALLY do not want to buy another psu. Will it suffice? It only has 1 six pin connector (the card needs 2) so I will be using a molex to six pin connector to account for that. Will my system be fine on stock clock? Or is it risky putting this card in my system with this psu? Thanks.

I have a Hartke 400 watt cabinet with a 250 watt head. My understanding is that it should be safe to play it at full volume as the cab can handle 400 watt and my head is only feeding it a maximum of 250 watt. Is this correct?

It's really annoying because I've just learnt the modes (on bass) and the modes sound bad against most things unless the 4th and 7th are omitted like in the pentatonic scales..

What's the big fuss about modes? Why is there no big fuss about the positions of the pentatonic scale considering it sounds much nicer?

The only thing I can find good about the regular 7 note scale is the leading note

I have a Pentium 4 3.0GHz processor and want to play Minecraft. Is it worth upgrading or does the high speed of it make up for it only being a single core?

I have a Pentium 4 processor @ ~3.06GHz, Intel G41 internal graphics with 1024mb of memory, 2gb RAM.

I can't even play Minecraft at its lowest setting without it lagging. Is this due to my processor, or is the graphics card too ordinary too?

hi. I currently have a nokia e71 and am thinking about upgrading to an iphone 3gs (nothing above 3gs, too expensive) and ive heard the battery life is pretty horrendous on the iphone? I would like to be able to talk for atleast 5 hours non stop on ebuddy. I wouldnt mind having the brightness down all the way and wifi off etc, just so long as it makes the 5 hrs, is it possible? Also, does it take long to get used to the touch screen? And does facebook take long to load (the app)?

The main uses would be 1. Facebook 2. Ebuddy or nimbuzz 3. Txt 4. Calls
