Back-To-Back Triple Crowns for Miguel Cabrera?
There have been 17 Triple Crown winners in the history of MLB and only Ted Williams and Rogers Hornsby have accomplished it twice, but not in back-to-back years. Miguel Cabrera did it last year and is currently at .384-12-49 in the Triple Crown categories this year. I am not saying he will but if he does it again this year he will be the only player in MLB history to accomplish this in consecutive seasons. If he is able to pull this off where would you rank this accomplishment in the history of greatest accomplishments ever in MLB?
Would this be the greatest individual accomplishment ever in MLB?

Unlikely.
But if it did happen, it would be the first of its kind like Johnny Vandermeer's consecutive no-hitters.
Greatest individual accomplishment, no. That would belong to Joe Dimaggio (56)

No player has ever even led the league in 2 of the 3 categories the year after they won.
A .400 AVG is really the greatest individual accomplishment IMO, though consecutive triple crowns (especially now) woudl be pretty close.

Always a possibility.
I'd say Not the greatest accomplishement in history if he does so.
A bigger feat to me would be somthing drawn out over more than two seasons, ie: Dale Murphy won back to back MVP's and is not even a serious contender for the HOF.

Cabrera would accomplish something that was never considered to be accomplishable. But there are still many games remaining in this season.

As good as he is I would have to bet against it. Like you've stated, it's only happened twice before. The odds are clearly against him. Individually it would be a great accomplishment however winning a championship is more important.

There is still much of the season left so we'll have to wait and see. I don't think he'll do it again though.

I think he really has a good shot at it but I think he ends up losing out on the HR battle to someone like Robby Cano who plays in a joke of a stadium.

I wouldn't doubt him at all. the tiger have a better lineup then last year and he's off to better start year.

He certainly has a good shot at it.
That would be nice.
I hope he does, he deserves it.
