    It depends. If your lover cheated on you and then told you would you applaud him? Hey, he was honest, just not loyal.

    Both of are equal important;

    Honesty is good because you'll never have to doubt a person who is honest, however, that person may be disloyal and betray you later on(honesty doesn't always mean nice, and dependable, although normally people who are honest are also loyal).

    Loyalty is important because, even if someone is dishonest you can be sure that that person wouldn't betray you, even if they are lying to you, ex; there may be a good reason for lying to you, even though lying is still unacceptable.

    Sorry if this is confusing... >.> What I'm trying to say is neither one is more important then the other.

    What good loyalty do if you are not honest? You have to be honest to the people you are loyal to. If you lie to them in some situations lies can get people kill, you don't have the people u want to give them your loyalties if they are death

    Raatz: would u rather have your lover not telling you honestly? To make u believe he she is loyalty and love only you.

    Honesty. I'd rather deal with a person that is honest sometimes than someone that is loyally dishonest.
