Why is Instagram deleting accounts?

most people are saying ig has been hacked mine was not deleted but delete ur bio and any web site you have on your ig sercurity reasons

I saw one comment say,"guys it isn't true there is a hacker and they hacked only instagrams real account and then looked for famous people with good amount of followers and deleted them! if you post a pic and tag instagram's real account then there is a chance you will be deleted! that is why he wanted to tell people to post a pic with camera and so you'll be angry and tag them...then they'll check out your account and might delete you!" so that's why but luckily I have less then 100 followers haha. :P

They have already deleted my account for no reason at all! People are saying that this is because we are posting our own pictures taken on the regular camera app instead of Instagrams camera. It's so stupid! It can't be true..

They are deleting accounts, but they are only deleting accounts that have been inactive for 90 days or more. And that one answer about the hacker is a HUGE load of bullcrap.
