How to protect movie script idea and rights for free?

I have an idea for a movie but don't know how can I be sure if I post it on scribdb or something, my work won't be duplicated and turned into a movie without my permission. How can I protect my script? I think even when I write it by pen, there is a risk I will have to sue someone?

Don't post it on scribd. Write the script in text processor and save it on your computer with a password. In Microsoft® Office Word you have options to protect it from reading, editing, even opening without a password. That is the only safe way to protect it from duplicating. Of course, if you wish to really protect the idea so no one can use it for a movie, obtain copyright.
