Is christianity needed now more than ever?
The level of depravity today is unbearable. Homosexuality, effeminacy, lesbianism, transsexuality, same sex marriage, feminism, artificial insemination, sperm donors, cosmetic surgery and communism.
As christianity began to wane the abominations I listed above started to take root. And now the seed of evil is beginning to bloom and it is not a pleasant sight.
During the late nineteenth century a towering intellect by the name of Friedrich Nietzsche devised a new kind of bible titled - Thus Spake Zarathustra. And in this book Zarathustra explains how man is at a cross roads and should take the road which leads to the superman. But unfortunately democracy was already in place, and as we know democracy is majority rule. In other words, a dictatorship by the common rabble. The importance of such a book is wasted on them for they are unworthy.
Mankind is sick and degenerating fast. But the masses have proven to be quite susceptible to christianity so perhaps we should start pushing for that again.

"...man is at a cross roads and should take the road which leads to the superman..."
But alas, man has chosen the wrong path and we have accepted the lesser of the two evils which is in fact the real evil.
The Last Man
The last man (German: der letzte Mensch) is a term used by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche in Thus Spoke Zarathustra to describe the antithesis of the imagined superior being, the Übermensch, whose imminent appearance is heralded by Zarathustra. The last man is tired of life, takes no risks, and seeks only comfort and security.
The last man's primary appearance is in "Zarathustra's Prologue." After having unsuccessfully attempted to get the populace to accept the Übermensch as the goal of society, Zarathustra confronts them with a goal so disgusting that he assumes that it will revolt them.[1] The last man is the goal that European civilization has apparently set for itself. The lives of the last men are comfortable. There is no longer a distinction between ruler and ruled, let alone political exploitation. Social conflict is minimized.
Nietzsche said that the society of the last man would be too barren to support the growth of great individuals. The last man is possible only by mankind's having bred an apathetic creature who has no great passion or commitment, who is unable to dream, who merely earns his living and keeps warm. The last men claim to have discovered happiness, but blink every time they say so.
The last man, Nietzsche predicted, would be one response to nihilism. But the full implications of the death of God had yet to unfold. As he said, "the event itself is far too great, too distant, too remote from the multitude's capacity for comprehension even for the tidings of it to be thought of as having arrived as yet."[2]

I don't think anyone who really looks at our society and our world today can deny that we have become apathetic creatures that don't have any more strength of our own than to just parrot mindless talking points which amount to steaming cow dung.
And if you sincerely believed Christianity was the answer to our societies ills, I highly doubt you'd have the screen name "Baphomet" with that picture.
No, I think you are just here for some afternoon entertainment to goad the poor sheep with your horns thinking all will be well after society has become absolutely corrupt.
Read this article to see how Wiemar Germany was right before it collapsed and fascism came into power.

If you get a chance, I'd suggest reading more about Wiemar Germany and how it was financially bankrupt and morally bankrupt which led to the ultimate evil of Hitler and Nazi Germany.
Hitler imagined a thousand year Reich.
It only lasted a few short years and Germany was devastated. Germany became a divided country.
Just like when Israel decided to live like other nations around them and wanted a king. They became a divided country with continual civil war. Then they were invaded and became dispersed. Only centuries later did Jewish people make Israel a State once again. But it is no where near as it was in it's short glory days.
Yes, you need Christianity and I need Christianity.
And you should realize God did not desire to set up an earthly kingdom.
That's not why Jesus died on the cross for us. He came to show us the way to salvation and so that we could have eternal life with Him in His heavenly kingdom.

I believe it is needed more than ever now that the uk is 25% atheist and a quickly developing Islamic population. Back when the united kingdom used to be greater than 60% Christian you certainly not heard of folks getting beheaded on the streets in front of harmless men women and children. I do not however, believe your reasoning though.

Ahh but you are forgetting the confounding variable - the decline of Christianity did not result in these things. Instead, the expansion of knowledge and the ability to break free from restrictive thought has caused all this as well as the decline of Christianity. Come back and try again.

No - christianity never solved any problems of the world....it caused more trouble itself on all levels!!
The level of 'social depravity' is the result of modern day societies acceptance of....anything goes - and no restrictions are applied (its a generation thing).
The standard of yesteryear social 'values' now seen as an out-dated ideology by younger generations who (seemingly) couldn't-careless where this present public attitude/mindset is taking the peoples of this 'once green and pleasant land' - and who will one day regret the 'anything goes' concept of life today....that 'they' demand/support.
Its all too late now anyway - social insanity has taken over - and theres no going back in our current lifetime.

Is this a joke? If not... Wow you sound crazy. You are very bigoted, hateful and sexist. If there is a "God" she is going to be pretty pissed at you..
You've also got Friedrich Nietzsche all wrong.
To answer your question... Christianity is needed less than ever. It only creates hate and you prove that.

Actually we are setting records for the highest age people lose their virginity in history. The number of Gay people has never changed throughout history.

The level of depravity today is nowhere near as bad as it was in the past when Christianity held much more influence over society...

The funny thing is that most of the people you would consider to be degenerates and those who are actually pretty bad people likely consider themselves to be Christians.

Christianity has been responsible for many of the most atrocious atrocities in history from genocides , to crimes against humanity to rapes to torture to witch burning to slavery to lynchings to every other barbarism one can think of .
