What will Marines be doing after Afghanistan?

Will they still deploy to afghanistan or will they just go in MEUs? How likley is it that the US sends ground troops into anothr country i.e. securing chemical weapons in syria after Al Assad is gone. Or iran? Basically, will marines see combat after afghanistan?

Come home, graduate from college, be with loved ones. Stay in bases to maybe quit or maybe get another job but always be ready to serve their country again.

The Marines will always train and be ready for any conflicts or emergencies that may raise around the world in the future.

Who knows with Obama, but america's too war-weary to go into Syria and Iran's doubtful. We'll see though

They train, train, and train some more. Not much more to it than that.

And the US gets into a war every 15 years. Just wait for it, **** always happens.
