Is this a good resume for a lifeguard? references?

Also, I have no work experience besides one-day volunteering events unrelated to lifeguarding (such as tree-planting, rose float decorating, festival booth...)

I can't think of good references. My English teacher loves me, but she can't say I would be a good lifeguard..My coach is kinda mean and crazy, I'm scared of what she'll say about me..My other two coaches are okay, but I don't quite think I stand out to them..

Anyways, here it is.

This looks pretty good with someone with no experience. My suggestions are:

-Put the Experience section right after the Objective section as this is your best selling point.

-How did the teams do? Do you hold any records? Were you the top scorer? Win any championships? All of that would add value to those entries. Add those details in as an indented bullet right below the name of the team

-Put your Education section next after your Experience section

-The qualifications section is all fluff except for the Red Cross certification, but I don't know what else you could do with that. Since your other stuff looks decent you might be able to leave it as is

-You don't need a references section on your resume. But if you have a lot of white space then it might be good to put something there just to fill in the spaces. Ask your teachers and coaches if they would be willing to be a reference for you. Even those that don't know you well might be interested in helping you out and might want to get to know you more at that point. You can also ask them if they could write a letter of recommendation for you. That way you can see what they might say about you ahead of time. I like to take my letters of recommendation with me to the interviews.

    Hope this helps.
