In the case that Yahoo! Answers doesn't fit the entire title in the box, I said, "What is a good place to advertise a Minecraft server WITHOUT paying to advertise?" That's basically it.
INFO ABOUT THE SERVER:
The server is running the Ultra Hardcore Mod.
I can't connect to it for a few weeks (can't run minecraft and a server without all of my mods for a while, one of them boosting FPS but kicking me from the server)
It is not 24-hours up, and it is run PERSONALLY by me.
I'd prefer no answers like "Youtube comments" or "spamming it."

Youtube is a good spot and minecraft server lists. could you join my server it a survival server with pvp arenas. I am making towns and villages if you find one you can get a protected plot for a little ingame cash. I will do a drop party every month only a small and I will do tons of events.

The best place to advertise for free is YouTube. Make a YouTube video about your server or start a forum about your server and put stuff about it and the rules etc.
