Will the takers eventually outnumber the givers?

Right now so many on unemployment or assistance and baby boomers and many on social security. Face it no telling how many will fly in from all over to get in on the deal. We have no jobs and how will they be supported. Now they want to bring in 12 million illegals and then the "back log" of 4.7 million. It's the boat will sink deal with so many loaded in it. Right now it is about like that ad this senatorial bill for amnesty will do the trick. Sad we are not like Mexico which makes a person show they are game fully employed for a longtime and they have to have a certain amount of cash in the bank for support themselves just in case. Amazing Mexico is like that and we are not.

the corporations have $2 trillion untaxed revenue sitting offshore and all jobs have left and Congress has cut them so many tax deals that now they want to tax the internet to get some of the revenue back. It's a joke Congress gets $3.5 billion a year in donations and don't want to upset that gravy train.

It's insane for American companies manufacturing here to abide by all tax laws and employ us and pay half our social security and some FICA and the other ones to bet away free of anything.

So we are in a mess and it is not going to get better till they do something.. Have a great Memorial day weekend.

I think everyone takes and everyone gives and measuring people contributions only by how much they earn is to misunderstand what makes a country work. It is not high earners that are putting the lives on the line every day to protect us, building our road and highways, picking up our trash, etc, and who taught you how to read and write so you could ask this question. If some people earn so little they do not pay income tax does not mean the country could do without them. it means there is something wrong with the way we determine how much people earn

I have made this argument before. The givers will outnumber the takers in time. This will be the dawning of the "Age of the Liberal Hippie Bastards"

I think that maybe you haven't studied any US History or basic Economics, or if you have you didn't pay very close attention!

The net tax burden on Americans is currently at the lowest it has been since 1958....if YOU are paying a larger percentage of your income in taxes than you were ten, twenty or thirty years ago, it is time to FIRE then PROSECUTE whoever does your taxes, because they are either utterly incompetent, or they are deliberately robbing you blind!
