How do I find an old friend?

For years I had a friend whom I was really close with.We met online,through Yahoo chat and over the years we've gotten really close.We emailed,chatted,sent each other texts on daily basis and spoke on the phone.All though we'd never met IRL(because we lived too far away from eachother),our friendship was real.We shared everything with eachother,could tell eachother whatever was on our mind.

Untill about 9 years ago.He was forced to get married and not to cause him any trouble,I backed out.

Unfortunately that meant that our friendship faded,he couldn't keep in touch anymore,because of him obsessively jealous wive.

The thing is that I never forgot about him.Our friendship meant the world to me and I'm sure he felt the same.About a year ago I started to try to relocate him,but so far I've had no luck.

The only information I have on him is his first and last name and the fact that he lives in Italy.

Can anybody help me?Maybe somebody knows how to search for a person with this little info?

Please...any help here would be great!I really miss my friend!
